Regata Abersoch Regatta Committee is pleased to announce that it is awarding annual grants to young persons under the age of 18 residing in the council areas of Abersoch & Llanengan and Llanbedrog & Mynytho.

These grants will be made available to young people who have shown potential for, or have achieved, a high standard of excellence in a sporting or cultural activity, such that they now need to receive specialist coaching or training if they are to develop further.

The grants can cover costs such as fees, kit and equipment, regular travel costs, accommodation etc.  The grants will be awarded annually, and will not exceed 50% of the applicant’s costs for that year.

The actual grants made will depend upon the current finances of Regata Abersoch Regatta and the number of applications received.
